Kindergarten Registration for the 2026 & 2027 School Year

March 25, 2026 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

 
Sevier County Schools will hold Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year on
March 25, 2026. As part of the Education Improvement Act of 1992, a kindergarten experience is mandatory in the State of Tennessee. To be eligible for kindergarten, your child must be five (5) years of age on or before August 15, 2026.
On March 25, parents/guardians will:

  1. Arrive at the school their child will attend
  2. Complete a 1-page registration information sheet upon arrival at the school where their child will attend (download will be available beginning March 10th on the Sevier County Schools District Website, bring completed form on March 25th)
  3. Receive a Kindergarten screening appointment card
