Pledge I am responsible for all my actions and behaviors today. I will listen, do my work, and learn. I will respect the feelings, property and rights of others. I will be a good citizen by doing what is right, not because I am being watched by others, but because it is the right thing to do. |
Students are expected to come to class prepared to do his/her work and learn. Each day students should have pencils, paper, books, and all materials needed. |

Classroom Rules
As in the previous grades, your child should continue to assume the responsibilty for his/her behavior. Please review the following rules with your child. The rules are: 1. Follow directions the first time they are given. 2. Pay attention during instruction time. 3. Stay on task during classwork time. 4. Keep your hands, feet, object, and unkind comments to yourself. 5. Walk quietly in the building at all times. If your child chooses not to obey the rules, the following disciplinary actions will be taken: 1. Verbal Warning will be given. 2. Second Warning: lose 10 minutes of free time. 3. Third Warning: lose 20 minutes of free time. 4. Lose all free time and write note to parents. 5. Parent/Teacher conference. If your child chooses to obey the rules, he/she will be rewarded with: 1. HAPPY GRAMS - These notes are sent to make you aware of your child's good, appropriate behavior, etc. 2. SWEET TREATS 3. STICKERS 4. EXTRA COMPUTER TIME OR RECESS TIME |
